Your first appointment with a new stylist can be a little scary. Whether you’ve recently moved to Chicago or are just switching stylists, getting acclimated in a new salon with a new stylist isn’t always easy. Below are some tips to help you make the most of your first appointment with a new stylist.
In order for your new XEX stylist to provide you with the best hair services possible, you need to be comfortable with them. There will likely be quite a bit of small talk at your first appointment. It allows the stylist to learn more about you and you to get to know them.
Don’t be afraid of asking too many questions. The more you ask, the better. Feel free to ask your stylist about their experience, training and current hair trends.
Be sure to show up on time for your first appointment. If something important pops up that forces you to be late, call the salon as soon as possible to let us know.
Try to minimize your phone or tablet usage during your first appointment. We understand that many of our clients are very busy and need to take calls during their hair services from time to time. During your first appointment, it is really important that you and your new stylist can focus on getting to know each other.
Bring photos of the new hair style you would like to achieve. It will make it much easier for your new stylist to know exactly what you want. Try to remember when your last color or other hair treatment was too, as it may be helpful for your stylist to know.
Your XEX stylist will do everything they can to make sure that you have an exceptional first experience at XEX. If you come into your first appointment expecting it to go great, it probably will! We’ve always considered our salon a “discharging chamber”. We want our clients to walk out our doors looking awesome and feeling rejuvenated.
