What is a color consultation and why is it required?

A color consultation is a short consultation with your hair colorist prior to your color appointment.

We require color consultations so that your XEX hair colorist can ensure that we are on the same page with you regarding your color treatment. Our goal is to provide you with the best results. The consultation is an important part of the process and allows your colorist to know exactly what you’d like from your color. It also allows us to ensure that we schedule ample time for the color service you are receiving.

I’m an existing XEX client, do I need a consultation?

We require color consultations for all new clients. If you are an existing client and simply getting a color touch up, we do not require a consultation. Existing clients who are looking for a major color change are highly encouraged to schedule a consultation prior to their color treatment.
